Use the National Library of Medicine's free Household Products Database to find information on more than 10,000 brand names. You can find out what chemicals are used in specific brands, what are the possible health effects of the chemicals, and much more. The database can be searched by product category, brand name, manufacturer, ingredient, and health effects.

. . . is easier now, thanks to the African Journal Archive. The Archive is part of a non-profit project to promote African libraries and information services. Using the Archive, you can access free, full-text articles from African scholarly journals.
